Good morning Lucinda & all of the children I will drop you a few lines to let you know whare I am, this morning finds me in New Haven in a Hartford Company Capt Henry C Smith of Hartford & Lieutenant Post of Deep River the same company the Turkey Hill boys are in it belongs to the 20^th Reg,t about 33 of us was transfered into this company Tuesday after noon came down here yesterday afternoon arived about 5 Oclock P M about two miles out of city down beside of the water as a very pleasant place I cant tell when I shall come home from your husband
