Camp near Acqueth Georgia June  9^th/64

Dear & beloved Wife

I now take this opportunity to answer your letters which I received night before last after I sent one to you in which I stated that I had not received a letter from you for a long time but, long looked for missives finaly arived one of May 15^th and one of May 22^nd I was glad to get them I can tell you and to hear that you were all well they found me well and still remain the same this morning, and hope these few lines will find you all enjoying the same great blessing.  It is a cool butiful morning here this morning we have had considrable raine here of late a number of heavey thunder showers. it rained last night but has cleared off this morning pleasant, I am with the supply train yet but dont know how long we shall stay with it. I think the Johnnys have got up and left again
