Dear Wife

I will now take this opportunity to answer your letter of the 20^th Ins’t I received it this morning was glad to get it and to hear that you were all well although you said you had some cold on your lungs  I hope it wont prove to be anything very seious your letter found me well and I hope this will find you and the children all well and you rid of your cold  It is a fine day here to day warm and spring like but the last week we had very unplesant wether stormy and cold, last Thursday night the wind blew a perfect hurrycane I thought it would take our shanty down but it stood it first rate though it burst one end of it in and sprinkled my face a little  We are going to have Divine Service this afternoon at 2. O. clock think I shall attend if nothing hapens to hinder me, You spoke about Mr Alvords
